The subject “Leadership function” together with the subject “Pedagogical function” constitutes the module “Management of groups in the education sector”, which is part of the strand “Management of training centers and teacher training”.

School management models should aim at a form of professionalism and consequentlyThey needof a specific education. Therefore, this course must be included in the basic training of teachers who have to carry out management tasks in the school world. It allows specific training in the management of educational centers and provides the scientific and professional basis for the dedication of teachers to these functions, in addition to the development of strictly didactic and pedagogical functions.

8. Teaching methodology

Essentially inductive and participatory in nature, it will combine case analysis, reflection and discussion, an application perspective and a deepening of the theory-practice connection. The perspective of professionalism in the functioning of school administration and practical training in school administration will be the basic methodological axis. It will be based on specific learning situations of individual work, group work, classroom and teaching (face-to-face and electronic) and the search for documentation on the Internet will be encouraged.
